Large Cut & Polished Ammonite Half

Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas during the time of the dinosaurs. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon. There were many different varieties, ranging in size from a penny to a tractor tyre.

Please note this product is a half of an ammonite pair, not a whole pair.
