Cut and Polished Ammonite Pair

Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas during the time of the dinosaurs. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon. There were many different varieties, ranging in size from a penny to a tractor tyre.

These fossil pairs have been cut and polished to reveal the internal chamber structure, displaying beautiful natural patterns and subtle colour variations.

Each pair is selected by weight, and the image shown is representative of the quality and appearance you will receive.

Sizes: Medium Large: 201–250g, Large: 251–300g, XL: 301–350g, XXL: 351–400g
