Penny Ross, chair of The Louis Ross Foundation, paid us a visit last week to present this lovely framed certificate in acknowledgement of our charity bike ride earlier this month.
Our funding will go towards forthcoming donations to:
Challengers, which is a charity providing weekend and holiday activities for children and young people with disabilities, regardless of the complexity of their impairments or how challenging their behaviour is. These are children who would not otherwise have access to play and leisure activities. £1,280 from Louis’s Foundation will pay for 7 individuals to have a day of play and fun.
Langside School in Poole, funded by Diverse Abilities charity, are looking to create a new Soft Play Sensory Space and need to raise £19,000. This amazing school supports pupils aged from 2-19 with profound physical and learning disabilities. Louis’s Foundation will aim to donate a portion of this required funding.
