Polychrome Jasper is a chert, which is a variety of Quartz with a fine-grained crystalline texture. It is most commonly of biological origin, being the petrified remains of tiny micro-organisms on the sea floor or petrified wood. Said to assist with grounding and stabilising, it can also help you feel energised.
