Small Cut & Polished Ammonite Pairs
Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas doing the time of the dinosaurs. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon. There were many different varieties, ranging in size from a penny to a tractor tyre. Actual ammonites may vary from those in the image.
